| Sunday, 25 August, 2002, 18:52 GMT 19:52 UK Rap debutants claim chart summit ![]() It was a bad day for the Sugababes Rap group Blazin' Squad have knocked Sugababes off the top of the UK singles chart with their debut single. The 10-strong all-male east London outfit's success meant the Sugababes' catchy Round Round dropped to number two after only one week in the top spot. Pop Idol and Pop Stars contestant Darius Danesh dropped further down the chart to number five with Colourblind.
The top ten was peppered with new entries, with Addictive by Truth Hurts and Abs' What You Got taking the third and fourth spots. Paul Oakenfold and Milky also both made top ten debuts. In the album chart Eva Cassidy's Imagine claimed the number one spot, six years after her death. The album - a collection of previously unreleased live and studio tracks - follows on from the success of Songbird, which took the number one album slot last year, selling 1.2 million copies in the UK. The American singer entered the charts at number one, forcing the Red Hot Chili Peppers off the top spot to number two. Imagine also beat off competition from the ever-popular Toploader, in at number three, and Latin pop superstar Shakira, whose album dropped from number two to number four. Moyet return Cassidy, who died from cancer in 1996, aged 33, only found true celebrity posthumously, when Radio 2 started playing her material. Her first album Songbird has re-entered the album chart this week at number 30. British singer Alison Moyet also entered the charts at number 18 with her first release since 1995.
