On An Average Day: Your views
Woody Harrelson and Kyle MacLachlan
The play is on at the Comedy Theatre in London
American play On An Average Day once again sees the transportation of Hollywood stars to the West End stage, this time in the form of Woody Harrelson and Kyle MacLachlan.

The pair play estranged brothers. MachLachlan's character returns home after 15 years to find his younger brother behaving in a strange and parnoid manner.

"Though the star quality of this duo is glaring from their first steps onto the stage, they are, from then on, horribly let down by the script," wrote BBC News Online's Rebecca Thomas.

But what do you think?

Was the acting of the high standard expected? Did the play itself disappoint?

Have your say

Excellent to see such talent grace the stages of the West End again, really good story, and set.
Pete, UK

Woody excellent, Kyle OK, play terrible.
Steve, USA

I was absolutely astounded by the high quality of the performances given by Kyle MacLachlan and Woody Harrelson in this play. It was of a standard higher than I expected.

The script was quirky, perhaps verging on the trite sometimes, but it did not jar as hideously as some other plays I've seen recently. As the author said in the interview published in the programme - this was an American idiom given a more British pace, and this experimentation with crossing the artistic trans-atlantic divide paid off in the form of a superb evening's entertainment
Patrick Cooper, Ireland

Is it meant to be a "revisioning" of Waiting for Godot - if it isn't, Harrelson would make a great Lucky (cast that man now!!) I thought it was great.
Kate Hegarty, Isle of Man
