Stranded bridal party arrives in UK after ash ban lifted

A bridal party from Canada has arrived at London's Heathrow airport in time for their wedding, after the UK government announced flight restrictions were to be lifted.

The British bride-to-be had been told only four of her six relatives could be accommodated on a flight to the UK from Canada before the wedding day this weekend.

Her sister and brother-in-law decided they would miss the big day so their four children could fulfil their roles as bridesmaids and ushers.

But when the couple phoned airline British Airways to check they could send the children unaccompanied, they got some even better news.
