US voters' views 2008: Final debate

In the run-up to the most hotly contested US presidential election in years we are asking panels of BBC News website readers to share their opinions and views.

Here Republican and Democratic voters reflect on the final presidential debate.

McCain made it clear that he differs from George Bush on a number of pressing issues

The four debates have only confirmed that Barack Obama is the strong leader that Americans need

Obama was utterly charming but the numbers simply don't add up

This debate was different. The conversations were more heated and both candidates directly engaged with each other

All I can say is that McCain did not completely alienate me

At this point I am strongly inclined to vote for one of the third party candidates
