Zimbabwe 'needs new leadership'

Robert Mugabe's government cannot solve Zimbabwe's humanitarian crisis, the Elders group of statesmen has stated.

Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga has called on the African Union to either deploy its own troops to Zimbabwe or allow the United Nations to send in its forces.

The Elders group also urged the Southern African Development Community to help contain Zimbabwe's cholera outbreak.
