Andrea Kirk, 32, from Dundee, was in Woolworths buying stocking fillers like paints, books, pens and pencils.

She said: "A lot of the big stores are going to overtake a lot of the wee stores.

"Asdas and Tescos, all the big stores, are overpowering some of the other stores so I think that's the reason why it might be shutting."
