Ciaran Hunter, 11, from Queensferry Primary School, said he got out of his sick bed to see Chris Hoy.

He said: "I made the trip today to come here because Chris is my hero.

"I thought he did so well winning his medals.

"I watched all of the Olympics so I'm really excited to be here."
