Karen Smith, 38, from Glasgow, and Donna McPherson, 40, from Paisley, welcomed their neice Lorna Smith, 17, a swimmer, back home.

"We're very proud, it was amazing and very exciting watching her. She said it was quite overwhelming. We're excited to see her. We have family in Melbourne who supported her."
