Kenny's mum Amanda, 43, and uncle George Winnick, 46, from Edinburgh, welcomed him home.

"It was a great feeling, like watching your bairn being born. We're really, really proud. We knew he'd win gold, he's put in a lot of work. I'd have given up anything to come here. It's brilliant, very emotional."
