The Ravenmaster has to carry out the same tasks as the other Yeoman Warders.

Much of his day is spent on post duty, where he oversees various parts of the Tower, guiding members of the public and answering their questions.

Derrick has three other Yeoman Warders as assistants who look after the ravens when he is away.
