Every morning the Ravenmaster cleans out the birds' cages, removing any faeces and feathers.

He gives them a thorough clean once a week on Sunday mornings, when the Tower opens later to visitors.

Four of the ravens are paired up - Gwylum and Hugine share a cage, as do Thor and Munin.
