I'd like the next pope to fulfil the dream of Pope John Paul II and to unify the Church, that was his dream.

I'd like him to build bridges with the Russian orthodox Church just as Pope John Paul did, following the direction that he created.

I'm disappointed that Russian president Putin is not here today.
