Casa Emmanuel is a state-run home for 17 profoundly disabled children. Brindusa Bialy is the director.

"All these children came from a big institution that closed in 2002. They each have a separate programme of development.

"Since they�ve been here, these children have achieved a lot, and have more distinct personalities."
