Brendan Gleeson enters the world of Harry Potter as the crazed Mad-Eye Moody, the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.

While Gleeson started his acting career fairly late he has notched up a number of big screen roles. His forte in recent years has been historical dramas such as Troy, Kingdom of Heaven and Gangs of New York.
