Blogs are becoming an alternative source of information for people wanting a different take on news and events.

"The fact that the news is not filtered through certain channels makes blogs a more intimate and comfortable source for information," said Mr Javanrouh.

He gets 11,000 visitors a day to his blog, many of whom leave feedback or ask technical questions about the photo.
