Dzhalavdi Beshiyev built a three-room house for the pigeons he breeds in his village.

He has kept pigeons since the age of six, when he lived in Kyrgyzstan after Stalin�s deportation of Chechens.

It is a hard task - amid the blockades and bombardments - but Beshiyev couldn�t part with his birds.

Now he can travel outside Chechnya and take part in exhibitions. His selection work has been widely acclaimed, and his pigeons are even flying in Germany now.
