The small Beshtau stadium is 300 km from Chechnya. However, it recently became the capital of Chechen football.

Revived in 2000, Grozny�s Terek team chose Beshtau as its temporary home venue.

Later Terek spectacularly shot from the second division to the Russian premier league, and made it into the Uefa Cup.

Many say that football is the last thing the war-torn republic needs now. But every victory is celebrated by all of Chechnya.
