1914 To manage their rivalries and fearing nationalist unrest, the Great Powers of Europe have formed rival alliances. Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy form the Triple Alliance, while Russia, the UK and France forming the Triple Entente. As Russia and Austria-Hungary intervene in the fighting that breaks out in the Balkans, the rest of Europe finds itself sucked into the First World War in 1914. | ||||
