Wind farm inquiry gets under way

The inquiry has been scheduled to take place over eight days

A public inquiry is scheduled to begin into plans for a wind farm development on the Berwickshire coast.

Eight days have been set aside to discuss the 22-turbine scheme at Drone Hill on Coldingham Moor.

Scottish Borders Council rejected PM Renewables plans last November due to concerns about the location and the impact on tourism.

The developers lodged an appeal with the Scottish Government which will now decide the project's fate.

Reporter Malcolm Mahony will preside over the inquiry being held in Coldingham Public Hall.

He will then deliver his recommendation to the Scottish Government at a later date.
