2020 World Service Recruitment Arabic

BBC Arabic delivers news, current affairs and documentaries across TV, radio and digital platforms for a weekly audience of 38 million people (BBC Global Audience Measure 2016). It broadcasts 24/7 from London and Cairo to the Middle East.

BBC Arabic was the first non-English language service to be broadcast by the BBC, when the first radio bulletin in Arabic went on air in January, 1938.  Sixty years later, in 1998, we launched bbcarabic.com, and in March, 2008, we launched the BBC Arabic TV channel. Arabic is the only language apart from English that the BBC broadcasts in 24 hours a day, across TV, radio and online, to millions of Arabic speakers across the world.

As BBC Arabic is seeking to grow, enhance and expand its services in the region, we want to attract new talent – and that might mean you!  We need the very best people from all backgrounds, across gender, geography, age, and life experience.  Our staff get world-class training and development, whether they are new recruits or experienced journalists, presenters and leaders. We have a wide range of roles available – please follow the links to our latest vacancies.  Join us and become part of this exciting chapter in the BBC Arabic story.
