Daf James introduces his new BBC One drama Lost Boys and Fairies.

Daf introduces his new BBC One drama series Lost Boys and Fairies. The series follows Gabriel, a singer and artiste-extraordinaire at Cardiff’s queer club-space ‘Neverland’ and his partner Andy, as they adopt their first child.

Lost Boys and Fairies is Daf’s first original screenplay for the BBC, he developed the project with Duck Soup Films as part of BBC Writers' TV Drama Writers’ Programme 2019 (the scheme is now known as Pilot).

Daf also talks about his writing journey with the BBC, writing his first television script at the age of 31 and being a part of the first ever Welsh Voices development group. 

Daf also mentions the BBC Writers' Script Library as a handy resource, especially looking at how other writers handle things such as stage directions in a script.
