![]() Welcome to African Performance In 2007 the African Performance season celebrated four decades with a wide range of winning dramas. The first prize went to a child's story of domestic violence by Abubakar Adam Ibrahim. The other plays varied from a ghostly account of the plight of the Botswana Bushmen, a dramatic love story, and a farce set in a Nigerian university. You can also hear are programme of poetry from a Sierra Leone writers group, and Kwaku Sintim-Misa's standup. And if that is not enough, there is always African Performance 2008. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
