Ritula Shah
Ritula Shah - presenter for The World Today
Ritula joined The World Today at its launch in January 1999.

Since then she's been involved in the programme's coverage of everything from September 11, 2001 and its aftermath to sports and the arts.

Before arriving at the World Service, Ritula worked in BBC television and radio news, including a lengthy period on the Today programme on Radio 4.

Ritula began working for the BBC after graduating from Warwick University in 1988.

She is married with two children.
