This edition: 14 March

South African swimmer Natalie Du Toit competed at the 1998 Commonwealth Games as a promising 14 year old with her career in front of her.

But in February 2001, she lost her left leg in a motorbike accident. Her determination to succeed, got her back in the pool 3 months later, and at the Commonwealth Games last year, she won two golds in the disabled freestyle breaking two world records, and in a games first she made the final of the able bodied 800 metres, and was named the outstanding athlete of the Games.

Marcus Prior spoke to her about her fight back to the top after the dreadful day the accident happened.

Inside Track takes the listener behind the scenes for a fuller understanding of African sport.
