Audrey Carville
Audrey Carville - Presenter Europe Today
Meet Europe Today's intrepid Audrey
Audrey has reported and presented radio programmes for the BBC for eleven years and joined Europe Today as presenter in 2004.

In 1996 she joined BBC Radio Foyle in Northern Ireland where she reported extensively on the Omagh bombing in 1998.

She has also reported on the region's complex peace process. Before that she worked as a reporter for independent radio in the Republic of Ireland.

In 1999 she moved to BBC Radio Ulster in Belfast where she anchored the station's flagship drivetime current affairs programme as well as a weekly discussion programme covering all aspects of life and politics both locally and internationally. She reported on the 2004 US Presidential election from Washington for BBC Northern Ireland.

Audrey has also carried out a number of investigative reports for BBC Radio Five Live and made several documentaries for Radio Ulster.

She has won a number of awards for her reporting and journalism including the Celtic Film and Television Award and the Institute of Public Relations Award. She was part of a Sony award winning team for current affairs journalism in 2002.

In her spare time she likes to run, listen to music and go to the theatre.
