Almost two-thirds of people across the world say they are feeling the burden of high food and energy prices, according to a BBC poll conducted in 26 countries.

The poll showed that in many countries, people say they are cutting back on what they eat.

The survey also found that 70 per cent of people polled said they were unhappy with their government's attempts to keep food affordable.
