Super Mario: plucky plumber celebrates 25 years of gaming success

The computer game Super Mario Bros is celebrating its twenty-fifth birthday today.

More than 240 million Super Mario games have been sold over the past quarter of a century, and his makers Nintendo claim he is more widely recognised than Mickey Mouse.
