Boy, has become New Zealand's highest grossing local film ever - and also won the Grand Prize at this year's Berlin Film Festival.

It is a coming of age story set in the 1980s in New Zealand's remote north eastern coast where 11 year old Boy lives his brother, a tribe of cousins and his nan - and dreams of being Michael Jackson.

The film's director, Taika Waititi told Anna why he thinks the film has such a wide appeal.
