Joseph O'Connor

A century after James Joyce crafted some of the seminal works of Irish fiction, his native Dublin city has been declared a UNESCO City of Literature.

Some of the greatest writers in the English language, such as Oscar Wilde and George Bernard Shaw, were born in Dublin and every corner of the city has links with the written word.

Novelist Joseph O'Connor takes The Strand on a guided tour of the city's literary and historical landmarks.
