Leang Seckon

Leang Seckon is a leading light in Cambodia's new generation of artists.

His first London exhibition, presented by Rossi & Rossi, finds him returning to the world into which he was born - Cambodia's killing fields.

Memories of horror and great beauty all spring from one domestic relic - his mother's heavy traditional skirt.

Harriett visited the exhibition to meet the artist and heard evidence of his previous career - as a singer.
