Africa Kicks 2010 Exhibition Invitation

BBC World Service celebrates a great year of African football with photographs selected by Ivory Coast and Chelsea footballers Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou.

Africa Kicks 2010 is an exhibition celebrating a great year for African football, as covered by BBC World Service in multimedia programming in both the run-up to and during the World Cup in South Africa. It includes images from the Africa Kicks project, during which the BBC’s multilingual team of journalists toured five West African countries, uncovering untold stories about the region which is home to some of the world’s best footballers – and taking pictures of the people, the places and experiences. The collection also features photography contributed by BBC listeners across Africa.

This one-day exhibition is open to the public and takes place at Bush House (The Strand entrance) in London, WC2B 4PH, on Friday 12 November 2010 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm.

The images will be available online, on the click Africa Kicks website from the 12th November 2010.
