A new international language is growing in Czech nature !!
Hello all !Hello Simon !!!
Simon,I hope you don’t mind if I answer your questions in the second part of this entry.
I would like to continue the article about Czech that I couldn’t finish last night just to make those entries a little bit coherent whole.I hope at least what I am writing here will help someone to know about this country more.Who knows what will happen.Maybe here is someone who has decided to travel to Czech to explorer it more by reading my entries :P
Czech has three oldest parts , they are Bohemia with its biggest cities Prague and Pilsen , Moravia is known to have Brno as its capital city and Silesia (Slezsko) has Ostrava,the city of mining work in the past.
The surface here is rather hilly,I used to ride a bike in Vietnam but I am pretty lazy to ride a bike here because of its surface. Up the hill is something like to climb the mountain for me !!Sometimes It is really funny when you are riding down the hill and see how the other one has to manage to go over that hill ,most of them usually couldn’t help though they tried their best ;)) so then the best way how to resolve that problem is get off the bike and walk until they meet their counterpart who also is trying to “climb the mountain” like what they have done because another one is coming !!!
So probably because of that reason people living here don’t use bikes as their transport. The second reason of not using bikes is because of the count of habitants. With 10,3 mil. habitant there are always enough seats in the bus or in underground.
Here are some photos of Czech nature that can offer tourist much that is of interest. Sandy rocks Český ráj-that is known as Bohemian parade celebrated with sandstone rock towns or stalactite caves in Moravský Kras ,also two glacial lakes can be found here-Černé and Čertovo,Šumava range with its original virgin forest,many old trees and bushes.The highest mountain -the Giant Mountains (or also Kokonoše in Czech) ,Beskydy,Hrubý Jeseník mountain ranges…
Amazing nature is waiting for you to explore it more !!!!

Thanks for the pictures of your holiday as well as the information about Turkey. How that country is beautiful !!!! It’s a magic combination at once with the mountains and also the sea. Czech is an inland country so Turkey is one of the most favourite places for Czech people to spend their holiday .I’ve never been there but It’s always interesting to have some time to travel with family.
Autumn is the best time to travel, there are less visitors than in the summer . Anyway was the weather good during your stay in Turkey? Last week we had rainy days in Czech .I wonder why Pilsen has played an important role in your life????I guess you are originally from Turkey right? Forgive me if my guess was wrong , I have read some of your entries you posted before you mentioned about Istanbul
Yes,to live in a foreign country gives us an opportunity to know more about the culture and the language of that country.I am actually fluent only in Vietnamese and in Czech. Shame on me what I am telling you but English is an obligatory subject at Vietnamese as well as Czech school so I started learning English from the fourth grade .
At elemental school I had German as my third language but then at high school I had a wonderful French teacher that put her love of French on us so for that I decided to take up with French and stop learning German.I right now remember only some basic phrases in German .
I don’t have any reason to regret for the decision of mine to explore something new with French I love French culture and their cuisine but It must be more interesting to know German better when I travel frequently to Germany. Right now we have Latin that’s something I have never tried to talk to anyone outside the school
So theoretically I should be able to speak Czech ,Vietnamese,English and French but I am not good at any of those languages .Any unsuccessful thing has its reason so I would like to discuss this problem later.
If Simon or anyone of you wonder I use something similar to BECHILAMA to talk to my Vietnamese friends living here. It’s a mixture of Vietnamese , Czech, English and sometimes there are some French or German words but unfortunately with Czech pronunciation. As a successful progress we have created our own language here that seems pretty international =))
Well, maybe Simon and also most of people who have read my previous entries think I am proud of Czech more than my mother land but the reason of not mentioned yet about my beautiful country Vietnam is because of all who read my entries here.Before I started blogging here I had looked at most of entries bloggers posted before .There are two Vietnamese girls that have already talked about Vietnam so I think my entries will be more helpful for people when I tell you more about Czech first.
What Simon wants me to write about some experiences of learning languages is also on my plan but I don’t want to tell you much in advance Just want to make all of you surprise :P So I hope someone here will back me up and anyway fell free to tell me whatever you are interested in both countries.
I am sorry for that lately reply of mine.As you know I am one of those people who suffer from a lack of free time so I hope all of you won’t be angry at me :D

Hi Josette,wow you both must be proud of your son.He’s clever to be successful at the exam when It is only once a year.The system of medicine education in Czech is different from France. I’ll tell you more in detail in my next entry. Anyway I admire what you are doing at your age. You said your son is studying medicine so you must be at the age of my mother so it’s amazing you still want to improve your English.

Lizeth,I think we both have similar feelings of living in a foreign country.I have a friend from Peru here in Pilsen.She is so cheerful and friendly,she has the typical personalities of latin people.

Dear Linda, although I could be your grandmother I'm also a kind of student. I have been learning English at evening class since 2004, once a week. I know this is not enough but it is the only low priced opportunity to learn a foreign language for elderly people. The reason why I want to write to you is what you have written about your choice of occupation. I worked all my life as a doctor, now I'm retired. To be a good doctor means to be full of enthusiasm for your job. The study is long and you have to work hard. And the job is never done, you have to learn lifelong. Do you really think you have made the right decision? I can understand that you want do make your parents happy but one of the most important things is that you are happy and satisfied. It is not possible me to go any foreign country yet. I got some idea about geography of Czeck. Well , will you come back Viet Nam next summer ? Have you gone to Da Nang ? It's my hometown. If you have free time , I suggest two beautiful places that are Unesco Heritage sites : Hoi An ancient town and My Son temple complex . I sure that you will like these places.

Hey Linda! Lovely snaps of your so green country! I sometimes paint and I'm keen on rainy or spring bright green landscapes. Sure thing we are proud of our son! I've always liked languages certainly thanks to interesting teachers. Especially German ones who were, I think like your current French teacher. But over 30 years ago, life was quite different and I didn't take up studies. At least not long ones. That didn't prevent me from having a nice job anyway. But with the weight of the years, I kind of regret not studying more. It's not a strong feeling that pushes me; no just a light one but a real incentive which has lasted for..several years now. For pleasure, it's absolutely nice you know. Even though it's a bit harder because my brain is a bit old, it's pleasant and challenging. Learning is a real delight for me. I've even undertaken Spanish as we have been living next to Spain for 4 years. So long.
