Destra has won numerous awards including five from the Copyright Organistaion of Trinidad & Tobago (COTT).

For four consecutive years, she was voted Female Songwriter of the Year and in 2006, copped the gong for Pan Song of The Year.

Of the many awards and accolades she's won, Destra says the awards for songwriting are the ones she cherishes the most.
