Rhys Ifans and various musicians connected with Super Furry Animals hook up intermittently to create blues rock carnage.
The group's debut album The Golden Mile was released in October 2008 by Strangetown Records Inc. It was recorded sporadically over a two-year period, and features 10 tracks including Stonefinger, Shoot On Sight (Flock Of Zeigheils), Turbotank and 69 Fanny Street.

The name is said to come from the area between the group's studio and the Grangetown area of Cardiff. The album tells of the places, characters and personal tales to be found in the mile-long stretch in which, according to Ifans, everything needed to 'sustain' the recording was available.
In 2009 the album was re-released and the band supported Oasis at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
