Episode 178
Brian confronts Jac Whelan about the detective agency business. He accuses him of conning Jenny Saunders. Arwyn is discharged from the hospital. He meets up with Jenny who asks him where he intends staying after the fire in the bedsit. Arwyn chooses not to reply. Agnes calls at Jac Whelan under the pretence that she has forgotten her scarf there the previous evening. They do a little more than just talk!

Episode 179
Jac has invited Agnes to his house for supper. They get on very well! Brian calls to see Arwyn at the hospital. He also meets Jenny who asks him whether Jac Whelan is a man to trust. Brian confirms that he is trustworthy.

Episode 180
Arwyn is in hospital with severe burns. He talks about his lucky escape. Brian meets Agnes - she tells him that she knows all about his feelings towards Wendy Keating. Brain says that he would like to talk further but Agnes tells him that there is nothing to discuss. Jac tells Jenny that the private detective has discovered some startling facts about Dr Richard Allen.
