At the Yacht Club Arwyn tells Brian that he has received a letter notifying him that he has been accused of medical negligence. Jac Whelan calls to see Jenny. He asks her for information about Dic Allen so that his private detective friend can start his search for the missing doctor. Jenny pays Whelan a substantial sum of money for the job.

Episode 174
Jac Whelan offers to mediate between herself and her estranged husband. Agnes tells him that despite everything she wants him back. Jenny calls to see Arwyn at his bedsit. He tells her of the impending court case. Jac Whelan tells Brian that, following his conversation with Agnes, she does not want him back under any circumstances. Brian is not very happy.
