Episode 145
Brian is on the phone to his wife telling her that Jac Whelan is visiting Brynaber and that he should be invited to their house for a meal. Agnes is none too pleased about the idea. Arwyn calls to see Agnes and he tells her that Eirwen Rees' family intend to bring a case of negligence against him.

Episode 146
Jenny meets Agnes at the supermarket. Agnes complains that Brian has invited Jac Whelan over to the house for a meal. It's a prospect which Agnes does not relish. Brian and Jac Whelan meet in a local pub.

Episode 147
Jac Whelan has arrived for supper at the Rees household. Wendy is obviously not too happy that her husband is maintaining a business partnership with the man from Birmingham. Brian tells Jac that his wife knows nothing of the agreement between the two men to go half shares in the purchase of the boat.
