Episode 76
Arwyn's mother has moved into the Saunders' household. Arwyn is concerned that she will not be able to cope with the woman who's caring for her. Jenny and Agnes meet in the hospital. They discuss Arwyn's mother and Jenny's weekend break. Dic meets up with them.

Episode 77
Arwyn is on the phone to his mother. He's concerned when his mother tells him that she doesn't know where Alwena, her carer, is. Dic calls to see Wendy with a gift from Tenby. Wendy tells him about her affair with Brian Rees.

Episode 78
Arwyn and Dic meet at the hospital. Arwyn says that he would like to take Jenny on a break to Venice and asks Dic whether he would be prepared to change shifts with him. Dic agrees. When Arwyn tells Jenny that he would like to take her to Venice, her response is lukewarm to say the least.
