Wendy and Dic have returned from their skiing holiday. Things are not good between them.
Arwyn and Jenny are in the hospital canteen discussing Brian's affair. Wendy arrives and tells them that she is most concerned about Brian's violent mood swings.

Episode 47
Wendy is discussing her skiing holiday with Arwyn Saunders.
Dic reassures Agnes that her husband will make a full recovery. Agnes relates the events of that evening at Arwyn and Jenny's house when Brian was assaulted.

Episode 48
Wendy is distinctly disinterested in the holiday snaps that Dic is trying to show her. When Dic offers to accompany her home she says that that would be a waste of time.
The police have been searching the garage database and they have come across information which has led to Brian's arrest.
