On Your Behalf - Benefits champion Eileen Evason
Professor Eileen Evason was the benefits expert on BBC Radio Ulster’s On Your Behalf programme for several decades, answering listener queries and teasing out how to navigate the complex system. Eileen was appointed as the chair of the NI Welfare Reform Mitigations Working Group to soften the impact in Northern Ireland of some of the benefits cuts being implemented across the UK.
