1984: Blue Peter demonstrates hair extensions

Janet Ellis leant her head to hairstylist-to-the-stars Simon Forbes so he could adorn her with the latest fashion, artificial hair extensions.

Obviously doing a full head of hair would take quite some time, so it was a case of 'here's one he made earlier'.
