Radio Foyle - City of Culture Announcement
This is the moment Londonderry was announced as UK City of Culture 2013 on July 15, 2010. The announcement was broadcast live from Liverpool on the BBC's The One Show as hundreds of people, including Gerry Anderson, gathered in Derry’s historic Guildhall to hear the result relayed on big screens.
