1958: Christmas tree disaster
The arrival of the 1958 Christmas tree for Trafalgar Square has been attended by disaster. The tree was unloaded at Deptford and suddenly snapped in two. What does Mr Edlin - who we assume to be some sort of world-renowned tree detective - make of this?
