BBC Merseyside Correspondent, Andy Gill, shares a few quick and easy ways to get decent sound and a good interview when working alone or under pressure in a news environment.
Use an external mic if you have one
Avoid background noise
Outdoors avoid wind noise
Indoors avoid buzz from electrical equipment
Do a test recording and listen back
