WEATHER By Isobel Holbourn It may be spring on Foula, but instead of bright sunshine and daffodils there's snow on the ground and a biting wind. Isobel counts her sheep but there are one or two missing. You have to be mentally tough to survive on the island.. She and John are at their lowest ebb after the winter, irritable and miserable - they call it Foula-itis. But they try to overcome this awful feeling and find the strength not to let things get them down.
