SMOKER By Ray Bagley Ray sits on a clifftop in Cornwall and complains bitterly about the way smokers are criticised and ostracised. He is fed up with the political correctness around smoking, which makes him feel like a social pariah. The worst thing is when he goes out to supper and is expected to go outside to have a cigarette. He makes an impassioned plea for more understanding and tolerance on the part of non-smokers. Your thoughts about this video

| Daniel Sandercock Dear Mr G Lewis I live in London and am sick and tired of walking through plumes of exhaust smoke. I am fed up with dodging cars because of careless drivers nearly knocking me over and I am angry for the children knocked down by cars. I am a smoker but not a car owner, we are all different and all have our own anti social vices. Lighten up old boy... Good on ya Ray... F. Barlow Why should I consider your sensitivities when you don't care about inflicting your unpleasant addiction upon me? All premises visited by the public should be no smoking. Mr G Lewis Sorry Mr Bagley but you have no sympathy from me. I am fed up to the back teeth of walking through a carpet of cigarette butts around my estate and town, I'm fed up of dodging smokers nearly burning my clothes, walking through clouds of cigarette smoke and I am angry for the children who die in house fires from smokers. Filixpan I think smoking is harmful to your body. I hope many smokers can give up smoking. |
