Liz sits in her ironing room, which used to be Simon's, her son's room. It's a sad room because he no longer lives at home. She remembers all the different wallpapers there have been, each representing a different stage in his life. It holds so many memories of him that she feels she's still got part of him. That's all you're left with when your children leave home.
