Mahjarul and his friends are the younger branch of the Stepney massive. He introduces the gang. Asian youth are not into fighting like in the old days, but that means people try and take liberties - they don't have respect for them, and they need to do something about it. But he loves the area - you've got everything you need here - open spaces, shops, parks, a community - and he wouldn't want to move, even if he had the chance.

After viewing this rather detailed documentary for the second time...my opinion has changed...I don't agree with gangs I think it really does promote violence...I dont agree with all that "we are doing it for defence" stuff...I really feel angered with such silly behaviour espicially from my fellow asian youths...
