MONASTERY

Stephen is on holiday in Russia. He looks at the frescoes inside a monastery, every inch of whose interior walls are completely covered in red, blue and gold frescoes. As an amateur painter he's consumed with jealousy. He marvels at the work of the anonymous artists and the fact their work has endured for hundreds of years.
