LOANS By Jennifer Grimshaw Jennifer has received some junk mail from her bank offering loans of several thousand pounds. She is shocked. It's quite irresponsible for anyone to take out a loan this large, and the bank shouldn't be encouraging it.

Jeanne Newby I agree with the comments made. I also think that the amount of credit companies advertising loans etc on TV to people with "bad credit rating", CCJs etc should not be allowed. Companies are preying on people who sometimes through no fault of their own are in a bad financial situation and they make it far to easy to add to their debt. Further, people should desist from this "must have now" attitude!
